OUR STORY

In 2018, we launched The Hangar Youth Mentoring and began working together to make a difference—one person at a time—through mentorship, shared resources, and collective support of young people seeking an aviation pathway. Every contribution, big or small, has shaped our path forward, and for that, we are deeply grateful. From the very beginning, we have continued to build our purpose with vision, trust, and the generosity of an incredible community.

In 2025, we introduced a more strategic and sustainable framework and established The Hangar Mentoring Company. As a registered charity with Public Benevolent Institution (PBI) status and Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR‑1) endorsement committed to transparency, sustainability, and impact for the young people we support.

What we do

We support young people wanting to access an aviation pathway by helping reduce the practical, financial and social barriers; focusing on trusted mentoring, aviation-based experiences, scholarships and industry connections, so they can pursue their aspirations with confidence.​
